From a check-up to sensitive teeth: read, for each treatment, what happens, what it is for and what you can do yourself afterwards.
Dental cleaning
Even if you brush well, plaque stays behind in places your brush can't reach. At a dental cleaning we remove it and show you where it hides.
Inflamed gums and periodontitis
Healthy gums don't bleed when you brush. If yours do, they are inflamed. Treating it in time stops it getting worse.
Periodic oral examination
At a check-up we look at your teeth, your gums and the rest of your mouth. The sooner we spot something, the smaller the treatment usually is.
Teeth whitening
Teeth get darker over the years, from coffee, tea or simply time. Whitening makes them a few shades lighter, in a safe way.
Sensitive teeth
A short, sharp pain from an ice cream, cold air or something sweet: sensitive teeth are common. Usually there is plenty that can be done.
For children and anxious patients too
