How do I make an appointment?
As an existing patient you book an appointment in the online agenda. Can’t work it out? Call us and we will help.
Can I change or cancel an appointment?
Yes. Cancel or move your appointment at least 24 hours ahead, so someone else can take your slot. The terms and conditions have the details.
What do I bring to my first appointment?
A valid ID. Do you take medication? Bring a list, or jot it on a note.
How do I switch from my current dentist?
You register with us. Afterwards, with your permission, we request your file from your previous dentist. Read more under switching practices.
What happens during a regular check-up?
We look at your teeth, molars and gums and tell you what we see. If something is needed, we talk about the next step together.
Does a treatment hurt?
That depends on the treatment. If anaesthetic is needed or useful, we discuss it beforehand. If you feel something during the treatment, give your stop signal. We stop straight away.
I am afraid of the dentist. Can I say so?
Yes, please do. We start with a talk, agree a stop signal and take extra time. Read more about support for anxious patients.
Do you treat children too?
Yes, children up to 18 are welcome. A child can look around first and try the chair. Read more about dental care for children.
What should I do in an emergency?
Do you have sudden pain or swelling, or has a tooth broken or come out? See the emergency page. It shows what to do.
What does a treatment cost?
That depends on what you need. You hear it beforehand. The list of fees is on the fees page.
Will I get a quote in advance?
If a treatment costs €250 or more, you receive a written quote in advance. For a smaller treatment you can always ask for one.
Does my health insurance cover dental costs?
For children up to 18, yes, except orthodontics. For adults it depends on your supplementary dental insurance. Your policy terms show it.
Can I see the dentist while pregnant?
Usually yes. Do tell us you are pregnant, so we can take that into account.
What can I do if I am not satisfied?
Tell us. The patient information page explains how the complaints procedure works.
